PenTest+

Earned the CompTIA PenTest+ certification in March 2024. Developing my ethical hacking skills, and familiarizing myself with the Kali Linux toolsuite.

Pfsense Firewall

Late 2023, I decided to take the first initial steps of building my first homelab, and purchased a simple managed switch, and a dedicated device to run pfsense for my firewall/router of my home network.

Jumping into pfsense was a great exercise in revisiting my networking fundamentals that I acquired in college, as I got to get hands on experience in deploying a firewall application, and work on subnetting and setting up vlans for my home devices.
